This was combined with the little boy’s wish for a “cave”. He loves books and got his reading spot under the bed, filled with a mattress and pillows. The bed is placed on top of a drawer and a book shelf halfway in to an old closet. Storage space was important in this small apartment, so one wall was covered with cabinets. Knobs in different colors and patterns were specially made.

To improve the flow of light the wall between the new kitchen and living room was knocked down and converted into a breakfast bar.
